Lawyer is failing on me, READ BELOW?
I was arrested for DUI so i hired a lawyer, im only 21 in florida miami
I have a court arraignment tomorrow and he dint know anything about it,
I called him up today to check up for tomorrow and he said he dint know anything about it, and that I should of let him know I had a court date from before, and I was like, A lawyer should already know when I have a court date, I mean, its their job
Now hes telling me he cant make it for tomorrow but he will send a friend to represent me at court,
My lawyer is telling me not to worry about anything and that everything will be taken care of
Altough, should I still appear at court just in case? or should i just not worry about it and have my lawyer take responsibility?
Geez, are all lawyers this way????
Lawyers are the scum of the earth. Document your conversations with him and send him an email confirming what he said. He is probably going to send one of his paralegals so he can get your full amount of money and work on a different case. Lawyers suck big time.

In 1986 while stationed at Great Lakes Naval Station I recieved a misdemeanor DUI, I paid the fines and fulfilled all of the courts requirements, but in 1994 after leaving the Navy, I found that I could not re-new my AZ. License unless I filled out an out of state petitioners packet; I have filled out five such packets to no avail, Illinois claims that one of the reasons is because I had aDUI in AZ. in 1997 and one in 2000; I asked MVD about being able to restore my privileges, and they told me that since I met the States requirements it would not be a problem, but that I would have to get cleared through Iliinois first; this is absolutely ludicrous, since when does Illinois tell the other states who and who cannot be re-instated? I find this to be almost if not downright criminal on the part of Illinois as it has cost me tens of thousands in potential earnings; as anyone knows it is impossible to get a decent paying job without transportation; I am also a veteran with many skills!!!!
Your license should be permanently revoked with 3 DUI’s.

What are the chances of doing time in Arizona with a first offense on a DUI and no priors of any sort?
My daughter got a DUI in January and since we cant afford an attorney I need to know what shes looking at if convicted or how should she plea. Shes never been in any sort of trouble and was under the influence of marijuana when she got stopped. I live in Texas and cant do much from here except from my computer. Can anyone give me some guidance or someone I can call that can help? I dont have the money for an attorney and need to work fast because she didnt want to worry me and just told me last nite and her court is in 1 week on 4/29.

I don’t know what Arizonas required sentences for DUI are. Some States have a set amount of jail time (1 to 3 days). If they have predetermined guidelines, it doesn’t matter what her past is.

Does every University offer pre-Law? Or only specific ones.?
I want to be a lawyer. I already know that I need four years of college followed by three years of law school.
Could I get the four year of pre-law at any college? If I were to major in criminal justice for my four years of college would I be able to follow it up with three years of law school and still become a lawyer?
Also, does anyone know which colleges in Georgia offer pre-law programs?

My friend just got arrested for DWI in NYC for the first time.?
I understand this is a misdemeanor. Is it the prosecutors who will try to have the court give him maximum sentence? And if so, does it mean my friend will need a defense attorney to defend and argue that the sentence is too harsh?
Your friend would be better off with an attorney. You’ll have to research the best excuses possible and see if one matches your situation. Find something that will satisfy the judge. Ask for leniency, especially if there are no priors.

What was the punishment for the CFA, in New Jersey?
Does anyone have a ticket to CFA in the state of New Jersey. If so, what is his punishment? (This is how many months of loss of judicial licensing costs, etc.). Forst This is my fault and I have a lawyer, Juist, but I'm trying to see what I'm ready for het.
