What is the statute of limitation for a dui in Utah USA?
I called a lawyer…he wasn’t sure…lol. Case was closed but not dismissed because the state was not ready to proceed. It’s been over a year now, I have not left the state and have fowarded my mail through the U.S. Postal Service.
You said the case was closed so it sounds like you were charged but the case did not go forward, however if charges were filed then the statutes continue and you can be charged on the same indictment as before, but since it has been over a year then the chances that the state will pursue the charges are virtually nil,you can always contact the State Attorney’s office and request a status on the charge.~
