DUI CHARGE FROM 1991 OR 1992?

Dui Charge from 18 yrs ago!!
i got a dui charge from cheektowaga 18 years ago and i was wondering if i can cross the border into a different state and not have any problems? THIS IS MY FIRST OFFENCE SO I WAS WONDERING IF I CAN JUST GET LIKE A FINE OR SOMETHING TO CLEAR THIS UP, IF NOT IS THERE A WAY I CAN CROSS THE BORDER WITHOUT GETTING ARRESTED.
i have a warrant for my arrest in new york state? i think it is still active. and i have also talk to james granville a lawyer from cheektowaga and he says that the DA’s office wants my license suspended for 1 yr! how do i win this case or how do i cross the border without any problems
does the border in ontario canada not check your passport when going over?
