Help Immigration Problem?!?
OK I am in bad situation . My mom get convected in class 1 misdemeanor embezzlement under 200$ anyways she played guilty to one charge and the maximum sentence in Fairfax VA in is up to 12 months in jail sixty days was suspended.. an the lawyer who was hired by the court didn’t tell as she is gonna have a problem in emigration. I contact the emigration lawyer. and he said he cant do nothing because shes a GC holder and she may get deported and took to jail. the emigration lawyer said w we needed to reopen the case. I contact the criminal lawyer he told us is passed 60 days he cant do nothing ether she stay here or leave ?!!!
is just hard for me its only me and my dad here and we need my mom with us. and my dad ir really sick and need his wife with him?!! I know there is a way??!! please tell me
As long as the imposed sentence was less than 365 days she won’t get deported. So relax. Don’t listen to Shamrock. Your mom made a mistake and not everyone who makes a mistake is a criminal.
